Yea, kinda strange how they react in their own way, glad ours aren't howlers
When Jack passed, it was quite unexpected, only 8 1/2 and his heart just gave out one night. He was our first in the pet cemetery and both Ruby and Kalani were there at his burial. Two very different reactions. The next day, Kalani was back at the grave trying to dig him up, luckily we dissuaded her. And in a couple days lost interest. Ruby was a completely different story, she would not go anywhere near the pet cemetery for at least a year and a half. Often we would walk down there, sometimes planting stuff, other times just a stroll, Kalani would always come, but not Ruby. Ruby would stay up at the house, sitting where she could constantly watch us. If we were just out and about and happened to head that way, she would instantly leave us and take up her overwatch position, awaiting our return, then one day,she was over it.
