Engine control unit for SL&H 435 is described in the service manual as a YM-1B

The one on my Hurlimann is acting up. sometimes it won't turn the engine off with the key turned to off, and the past couple of days, It seems to be turning the engine off after starting. (the problem does lessen as the tractor "warms up, But I'm not sure how that plays in.

This evening while dragging out some large maple bolts, the engine would cut out and then cut back in at about three second intervals each. Pulling a load that way is incredibly annoying! ;-)

The tractor always starts right up as soon as the fuel control solenoid is heard to "clunk". But if that doesn't occur, cranking won't start the engine.

I've not seen that these units are problematic, and in fact can not find reference to a "YM-1B engine Control Unit" when searching the web. I suppose it could be either the oil temperature sender or the oil pressure sender providing improper signals, But.... that wouldn't result in run on after key off. Hence my questioning the control unit it's self.

Any ideas of a simple fix or replacement? Perhaps there is a "generic" unit. My nearest D-F dealer is a 2 hour hike one way.

Note. This tractor is stored under cover, so it could be rodents, but it's not water ingress.
