Satellite Reception

I'm in Canada, Quebec to be precise and we've had much power outages and damage.
Going on a week now, but power is back up.
Here is the problem.
Many stations simply are not working, like CTV, CNN CBC etc. (mostly the ones I frequent a lot)
Others work OK. What might be the problem?
Is a satellite having problems?
Surely it is not my receiver nor my TV as most other channels seem OK.

Not sure if you have the same digital tv system we do in the U.S., but you might want to try doing a rescan with your tv. It may have "forgotten" where some of the channels are after having no power for a week.

are you comparing HD with HD channel ? is your analog channel work ? what is your signal strength?

Well, if you have to watch CNN for your news, you are better off with the power out! lol

I select and get what I did but no PIC, Then later it did work 4 a bit but froze on the last image.
Now its OK and seems normal.
At one point I could only get CTV west and not Mtl. Quite baffling.
Guess I'll just blame it on the recent storms we've had and 7 day power outage.
