Easy, good for the back. You can make something like it and attach to the tractor, or the loader or somewhere it might fit.

Looks like a good idea! Im usually bending over and cutting on the ground to make my rounds

The back gets tired after awhile. The next best thing would be a grapple on my loader and then no lifting

I want one of those!!!! How do I get one? That greenish thing holding the log looks pretty useful too!

That's a nice little log holder you have there.

Presently I cut with the log on the tractor forks or if it is on the ground I kneel in an effort to save my back.

There are plans for a proper saw horse for cutting logs but like all things I plan the time to fruition may be long.

Well isn't that neat. Kind of reminds me of the old carpenters bench's of old only it's missing the seat. The kind that held your wood while you were using a draw knife.

I pick mine up bar on the tooth bar on the bucket loader, cut off each end until I get to the middle then cut most of the way thru and dump the log. I roll it with the loader, make the final cut. Next use the bucket to scoop up the rounds and carry them to the splitter. From the splitter I toss the pieces into the bed of the pickup, take them home and have my son unload them.

Minimal exertion on the bad back.

What do you mean, "old carpenters"?

I have one of those (a shave horse) in the basement. I use it for making spindles for my winsor chairs.
