I park my implements next to the barn where I had dug out because water flowed in the barn clean outs. A couple of bags of crusher stone, sitting on pallets, an occasional spray of Glyphosate, It’s the perfect place.

Oh no, toxic tractor implements. :D

Hope you are not looking for a big million dollar settlement. ;)

When the weather isn't so cold out, the next project for the quick-hitch will be this. All I need is a 30-gallon plastic barrel. Those are $8 on CL out here. (y)

The 30-gallon fits like a glove for the quick hitch. This should be about 240-lbs of rear ballast.

Reading the Reddit post, the 30-gallon is not filled to the top.

Mark the inside of the 30-gallon barrel to 26-inches MAX.

Time to cure is 7 - 10-days above 70F.

I just have to find a good 1-inch solid rod.

Check neighborhood sales or marketplace for old weight lifter bars.

Some one made it as a lawn roller. Just keep the outer plastic barrel over the concrete.

Have you considered a design that would allow it to roll, if wanted? E.g. 1.25 pipe as a sleeve, and a 1" axle?

All the best,

Peter

American threaded Pin on the L.and the Org. Yanmar R.. The small Metric Threads wear out. Standard threads screw right in and I Locked with a Locking Washer and Nut so it doesn't come loose anymore. Actually fell out before mowing so I had to lock it up!
