Seafoam is one of those rare products. It actually does what it says it will do. Defiantly in my "A" list of products.

Yes it is a great product for sure, the pisser is buying enough of it to last all year at the cheap price- the local NAPA dealer is selling it for $9.99 + tax so its $10.87 a can GGGGRGRGRGGRGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
It would not be so bad, but when its on sale its 6.99 a can other wise and I will just have to bend over and buy two cases when its 6.99 a can

You can buy it in gallons from the NAPA but its as expensive as the 9.99 cans AT NAPA for the gallon plus shipping!!!!!GGGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Local fleet/farm supply store started selling it in gallons. I get the little cans when on sale, probably have a years supply on the shelf.

The UTV was stuttering when I started it cold, would die off if I hit the gas. Had to baby it for 2 minutes to warm up. Did that for 2 tanks of gas, figured would have to monkey with it.

Put in a can of Seafoam when I thought of it, and was good to go since, right away.

Like someone said, one of the few can of product that works. It can't do miracles for a bad machine, but it can help clean out stuff & gunk.

I cant say it helped my weedwhacker. It started running rough and not revving up like it should. I put about 2 oz of SeaFoam in the tank and ran it about 10 minutes with no change, then let it set over night. No change, increased the dose to about half and half no change. It is setting in my shop now with the dosing in the carb and tank. I will try it again in a month or so. IT has been setting since Oct. so if it is going to work, it better do its stuff when I get home in March. I may just have to spring for a new weedwhacker although this one is only used one season. If I do, I think Stihl is what I will buy and get away from the throw away brands.

You can overdose. It wont run straight seafoam, max is about 50/50 mix

For cleaning, Amsoil power foam is 10000X better then seafoam and cheaper. Also B12 Chemtool is way better. Why anyone still buys overpriced seafoam is beyond me.

Because many of us know that it helps and it is worth the price. As you see in the thread here, many of us have had worthwhile results. Most of us never heard of the items you mentioned and we don't jump at every Internet rumor someone posts.

Sure, seafoam is better then nothing. But heck, cleaning "carb" power, you can use water and get the same results. Most never heard of the items above? Wow...and internet rumor? then I guess most need to get out or TBN land...

I used to love seafoam when it was $4 a can and posted many vids on youtube etc. But then I learned more.

B12 has way more cleaning power. Nothing new and any car site, oil forum will tell you that. And Power foam is way better again look online. For $5 a large can, again better value for me. I guess if walmart of tractor supply do not carry these items, they are rumors or products from mars....

Any good results with Startron fuel additive ?

My small engine guy put me onto Startron. Says it won't gum up like Stabil. I have been using it for about 2 years in all my small engines and for storing my snowmobiles and summer vehicles. No problems at all with starting and everything is running smooth.
