Self made attachments

Although I have extremely modified my 6 foot king cutter tandem disk to fit my needs , not really home built .

Am working on what used to be a single gang pull disk that we originally converted to a 3 point lift ( but with addition of k.k. disk is no longer needed ) , but now have saved our 3 point frame , part of the original disk frame and am converting / adding a 4" x 4" 6' steel tubing with slots both top and bottom to accept 17"+ scarifier shanks similar to this one :

SCARIFIER SHANK 17.88'' 4 HOLE - Agri Supply

15 slots but will only pull 8 shanks or 7 depending on which slots I use .

It would be similar to a box blade , but with-out the box as I already have a blade , so not looking for another .

My implements are all "home made" except the tiller. But the thing that I use the most is the Quick Hitch. The QH makes changing implements so much easier that I find I change implements to do just quick 2 minute jobs.

Probably my imitation Gannon rollover box has the highest notoriety, but I use the scoop and the rear blade more. I bent the frame of the RB on a curb pushing snow this past winter and need to make version 2.

Larry I just re-watched all of your awesome videos. It was a real pleasure to see your first class projects in one place. :thumbsup:

When I remake my RB I am thinking of incorporating some of your design ideas in the rake (parallelogram side shift), without the hydraulics, unfortunately.

Does it count as an attachment? On my previous tractor, I built my own TnT setup.

It is not in the budget right now for the new used tracot. And, it is what I miss the most.

I did add a reinforced tab on my scraper box, which has a 2" ball mounted. It works great for moving trailers. Since I almost always have the box scraper on the tractor, it works out well. I could use the drawbar, but then I have to drop the scraper.

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME ;-) Me and a buddy welded some special lifting forks for the front and rear end of my Mahindra 3535. Why? Cuz of a bet. Depends on the tractor size, the bucket (assuming that's where you intend to mount it), etc; but I would guess 8' max.
