Ibrahim answered that, but in final testing and troubleshooting, we got the old server opened up to about 192mb of ram and there was no difference in speed, which told us we really needed a major change to a new provider with a different setup.

Just checked who's logged on, and you are up to 36 simultaneous users, and still going at least twice the speed as the old server with 15! I could get used to this! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Don't forget that there are probably another 30-50 users also accessing the regular web site while the forum runs. There are a number of scripts on the web site that also bang on the resources. But as far as I can tell the new setup is handling it all with grace and aplomb!

Your profile lists a tractor model I'm not that familiar with but I sure am thankful your hobbies include computers etc. What you've done to this site is more than any turbocharger could do for my tractor! but <font color=blue>Our server is in San Antonio, which makes it closer to everyone</font color=blue>....I'm pretty sure that Seattle is closer to Alberta than San Antonio /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif!!

Regardless of location though...I'm one happy Canadian forum member!!
