Hey all, I just bought a 2000 L35. Great machine, and I am trying to fix ALOT of things that were ignored on it the first 1300 hours of its life. Anyhow I bought a service manual for it from ssb tractor (sorry if Im not supposed to say whom I bought it from). Cost me $193. It appears to be just a photocopy of an original manual! Is this normal? The text is fine and easy to read but the photo pictures are terrible (just like youd expect from a poor photocopy). No where on their web site can I see anything saying that what they are selling is a photocopy. Are there places to get original service manual copies? I wouldnt mind if they had mentioned this was just a photocopy and sold it for a price reflecting that but $193 for a copy machine reproduction seems rediculous. Can someone tell me if this is a normal practice for selling service manuals? Thanks in advance. Hutch

Contact them about it.

If no resolution, claim "fraud" through the credit card it billed on.

I had the same experience with this company. I sent a letter to Kubota asking if SSB was an authorized reseller or if they were illegally selling poor copies. Initially, Kubota said someone would get back to me, but no one did. I'm trying again.

The manuals for my Kubotas came right from the dealer and were poor quality also. For what they charge I would expect a better quality myself.
