It's been stored at my son's house for the past 1.5 years. And I don't think it's moved that whole time, unless my son used it and didn't mention it.

Had to clean off the deck, gave the bearings some fresh grease, give the tires a close inspection. Plus clean a little corrosion out of the light plug to get the lights working properly.

That is another really odd quirk of a LOT of drivers. Again, it just doesn't make any sense to me. I don't think they do it because they're thinking "I don't want anyone to pass me". I think they just subconsciously must see the multi-lane road and feel more comfortable going faster. But it happens ALL the time around here (MN).

I believe you are generally right on this point (other than the occasional True Jerk (tm) ) that it is just drivers adjusting to the road conditions. 2 lanes now makes people feel fine going faster, so they do so without giving it much thought (subconsciously). That is one reason why I love my car. No matter what they speed up to, I can blow past them in a heartbeat to avoid being behind them in the next single lane section when they slow back down.

The guy straddling the lanes example. Jeesh. What is wrong with some people?

Even snagged a red flag form work to hang off from it, even though it was only hanging 2' off that back.

Only thing wrong with the load, was no tag on the trailer Tags bolted to the tailgate. And I had to remove the tailgate in order to haul the culvert.

Even had working lights and brakes

Were the straps wrapped around the pipe?
Couldn't tell from the picture.

I made a frame work to rest on my equipment trailer sides to support a load of 16ft drywall. Set the frame up such that forklift loaded my trailer. Then backed the trailer in the workshop and unloaded one piece at a time while hanging the drywall piece. Jon

Yes, looped around once through the grooves to lock it in.

The only thing missing was strapping the 4x4 cross braces to the trailer. If the pipe got slightly loose, they could slide off to the side. But not that likely if the trip wasn't far & the pipe was cranked down hard.

Never figured this out, but if you are driving between Seattle and Tacoma in Washington State the rules are reversed. The fast lane is the Right lane and the slow lane is the Left lane. It is the only place in the US, I've ever seen this as a common convention. Every time I get past Olympia, I have to remind myself that the driving rules are going to get flipped.

When busted that area which has been 25 years ago I noticed this. I didn’t think it was a rule but just people didn’t know how to drive.
