I'm not sure how they do it now since I don't currently have an SUV, but Michigan DMV didn't have an SUV category so they were titled as "Station Wagon".

Yup. Not that people always like it when I refer to mine as a wagon, or station wagon, since the politically correct term is now SUV. View attachment 883842

Luckily that horrible trend of putting parquet floor boards on cars, passed Europe..
My mother drove us all around in a metallic green Ford LTD wagon that was really not that far removed from that vehicle, all thru the 1980's.
