It's a suckers market! With the keeping up with the jones thing, who would come home with a (used) big camper without all those pop-outs and who knows what else they have now (probably granite counter tops) . You would be the laughing stock of the hood! But no one laughs at you with that monster that sits depreciating (it's value and those of the neighborhood) beside your house 50 weeks a year.

A lot of people buy them and travel around the country living in them after they retire. I agree with others though; if you aren't paying for it, why do you concern yourself?

I just returned yesterday from a very enjoyable trip in our high end motor home. I parked it at our property near our other RV, the 25 ft toy hauler.

We use and enjoy these items. It allows us to camp and visit with friends and family in a way not possible if we did not have them. All of us who make these trips have been "suckers" for decades.

...and the way the tailgate/hatch on the "tow" vehicle was bashed in just above the hitch, most likely they probably thought- "Well, their trailer damaged my car already, I might as well tear their trailer up..."

The dealership should be held liable for this catastrophe if this is the truck the Trailer was picked up in. Just like a bar is becoming responsible for over serving someone and they cause an accident. We need more accountability because consumers can clearly be idiots.

I believe the only cure for stupid is death. To bad it usually involves more than the idiot. The really sad part is that the stupid idiot usually has no clue.

If we only concerned ourselves with our own matters, this site for one would not exist.

And when I do see those unused montrosities (RV Trailers) cluttering up neighborhoods and properties, or get behind one, I am affected to some extent.

I do feel sorry for all the lemming like people that get fooled into such things. People that never experienced passions, hobbies or interests of their own making.
