Maybe what was on those pallets at the back weren't very substantial in weight? Guy who transported my Polaris had it in the bed of his beefed up F350 (he hauls trailers): <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=484603"/> He had built the ramps in the back (needed to go above his extra fuel tank/tool box), but did not know that the rear wheels on the Polaris set out farther than the fronts! That's a 2k lb machine there! And, obviously, riding on the tail gate.

I would be more worried about the tongue weight on that hitch extension. Seems like it would put A lot of stress on the point where the hitch connects to the frame of the truck.

That TDI wagon looks to be from Georgia. Looks like it got bumped from behind. It's got some performance mods done to it ("I" in TDI is blue, so a tune or something).

I'm more worried about the 3' hitch extender than I am the tailgate.

Florida. Dunno anything about the car except it has a large tropical bird roosted on top. It was only about 50F outside. The owner was asleep inside the car.

OK, yeah, I thought it could be Florida but thought I saw the "peach." Should have figured that with the parrot theme that it was Florida:laughing:

The I is blue on newer TDI's.

Looking at the first pic, I thought the driver was a Monty Python fan.

Then I later realized the parrot had changed sides of the car.

My observation is if it werent for the tool box the load would have been more forward and even tho the overload weight it would be much better. perhaps they are going a short distance?

Well, "if" would fix a lot of the issues in this thread. :laughing:
