I was clocked speeding at the bottom of a long steep hill.

Fact was my gas gauge was flashing a warning and I purposely booted it and shifted to neutral to gain distance.

The LEO popped out from behind a tree holding a radar gun and naturally flagged me over.

I admitted speeding and showed him my flashing warning and said I was simply trying to gain free distance.

He simply said, 'Have a nice day".
I bought a lotto ticket!

(In fact I hit 80 in a 40 zone but problem is this hill is in the middle of nowhere and their favorite cash grab )

He had the radar gun and also his scanner to verify my plates for possible outstanding fines. Also verified my license and insurance papers.
This was the provincial police, not a local.

Unlike your provincial LEO's (who are polite when stopping U) the Que Surety are arrogant and abrasive which immediately sparks hatred and rebuttals.
Here they simply say 'License, Permit and insurance' very often with one hand on their sidearm (and twice I have seen it 1/2 way out, with once 2 LEO's, one per side and pointed at me and that B4 a single word was spoken)

In Ontario every time I have been flagged it generally starts as "Good day sir, I hope you realize why I flagged/stopped U" followed by 'May/could please I see------"
