Shell Rotella Synthetics Rebate

I submitted my rebate online. 3 gallons of T6, $5 rebate per gallon, but a 2 rebate limit (not sure what that means) so I figured I would get $10 but hoped for $15.00. I got my check the other day for $12.50. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be happy or disappointed.

To add to this confusion, last week I received 2 post cards from Shell. One said I couldn't get a rebate because I submitted 2 requests. The second post card said they couldn't process my rebate request because I didn't include my receipt. Keep in mind, I have already received my rebate weeks ago.

One week I received a notice of no receipt received, then a couple of weeks later the rebate arrived.

I just got a post card from Shell saying I did not send in my original receipt with my rebate form. It informed me to send in my original receipt along with the post card. The problem is I don't have an original receipt because I already sent it to them. :muttering:

Update: I resubmitted a copy of my receipt with the postcard, but had written off getting anything back. The rebate was in the mailbox yesterday.

I just got another postcard saying I didn't send/do something right to get the rebate but I had already got the rebate check a week earlier. I wonder what kind of people Shell has handling the rebates. :confused2:

I got a postcard saying my submission was invalid for lack of an original receipt. I submitted the receipt online for two 1gal containers. They processed one submission, and issued the check for $5, which arrived today. After sorting through all sorts of voice prompts, I got a person on the phone who said they would correct the second submission and get it issued.

One receipt for multiple gallons, one submission stating it was for two, and they still mess it up!
