If you have the motion match switch you can have two settings. One for long and one for short. You program the switch by using the turn signal switch to change the setting number.Short settings are 1 thru 5 and long settings are 5 thru 9. Don't know if 5 short and 5 long are the same. Number 5 is the factory def setting. I thought with the motion match switch you could use it to scroll thru the number settings and change it with the motion match switch. You can't. You have to change the number setting with your turn signal switch. After setting the number you desire the motion match switch gives you the choice of long or short. Say short is set at 3 and long is set at 9. Then you can change between the two with the motion match switch. If you want to change number settings you have to go back thru and reprogram it.
