You made that rake?

Yes...why?

Just a hunch but I'll go with quality of prep and execution, beautiful design and welds, nice paint job and a clean shop with nice and well cared for equipment. Other than that, I draw a blank...:D

Really a great job. Sure wish you lived closer so you could be my BFF.

Here's my current contribution, it's not pretty but it got the job done. Had to pull the PTO stub out of my MF35 Utility, I was told by several people to just grab and pull hard. That didn't work, nor did several other methods I tried.

I very quickly cut the nearest scrap I had (a piece of angle iron) down the middle, pounded it flat, welded it back together and punched some holes in it. I bent up a U-shape out of some other scrap, drilled it and welded that to the back side.

Only took about 10-15 minutes, all so I could use a slide hammer to pop it out. One quick whack and it worked like a charm. I'll clean it up one day and make it prettier, but that's not high on my list of priorities.

This is an oxy-acetylene torch holder I made a while back. It swivels for adjustment and is mounted on a 1.25" square shank so that it can slip into the hardy holes on my anvils and blacksmith tables.

BigBoyToy- I so much want to be your neighbor.

Yes. Nice job! Terry

THANKS GUYS!

When you own a tractor and a welder you "FIND" projects to do!
The rake was a fun project. Had the 2" tubing and got the yellow angle from work, so the tines and the 3 point hitch pins were the only items I had to buy. The only thing I need to do is lengthen the gauge wheel extension arms. The piece of steel I had was a little short, so the wheels can't completely spin around, they hit the tines. All in all it works great.
