Does any one know if JD ever made a sickle mower that works on side hills?

You mean where the sickle is at a different angle than the mower frame? Almost all mowers allow for some slight variation above or below a true flat angle.

If you are looking for a mower that the cutter bar will operate regardless of angle, then you need to get into one without a pitman stick. There may be others, but the number 10 belly mount mower is the first JD one to support this that I know of.

The JD 350 came with 3 point hitch and works on all tractors with that setup. The JD 450 is the same mower platform on hydraulic wheel carrier. The 450 is good if you don't have 3 point on your tractor. Ken Sweet
