sickle sections

I converted a 2170 Gehl Mower Conditioner and will convert a 451 new Holland sickle mower this spring. both the machines are a 9 ft. cut.

I've got a NH 456 that I've been considering converting. Any idea on what the cost/effort is? Right now I'm using overserrated blades that I put on last season and they go through Tifton 85 and Bahia like a hot knife through butter.

I had a SCH sickle in a sicklebar mower because I thought it would be great, but I went back to a sickle which you have to sharpen the sections. The SCH sections can look sharp because they're serrated when they are not really very sharp and that makes the mower take more power. I don't think Rowse will honor its warranty if you put top serrated sections on a Rowse mower. Kosch uses the SCH wobblebox but it doesn't issue a SCH sickle.
