Signatures

All right Harv, I am fairly new to this board and have not posted too much, but I read this entire thread. I then felt compelled to create my own signature. So here it is:

. I saw your christmas animation and I have to say: "WOW!" That must have taken forever! This was my first animation and it took me about an hour, but I had fun with it. Thanks to all who contributed to this thread.

I would assume Ulead GIF Animator will work just fine.

An animated .GIF is just a series of .GIF images chained together. You will have to create each "movement" just like a cartoon is drawn. The software will combine them into one larger file. You can setup the delay between images, and how many times you would like it to cycle.

Unless you have a real need for an animated GIF, stay away from them. They take longer to load and they usually are pretty annoying.
