Yep, too big, but when I shrink it, the detail goes away. I used photostudio to change it to a jpeg. Maybe I need to go back to paint and shrink it, then change to jpeg. Jeez.

When I shrink it, I lose all the detail. What's the deal?

I'm going for it again.

Nice work fishman, now when are you going to trade that wheelbarrow in on a tractor? Does the color of your wheelbarrow provide any clues to your preferences?

Harv,

Seems like those near and dear to us just have no sense of humor! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Although if I could get paid for all the time I spend monitoring this site it would supplement my retirement down the road!/w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Excellent, Fishman! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I am humbled by the artistic talent that is showing up on this board.

Yeah, I guess you noticed the challenge of creating miniature artwork for computer viewing. In my professional days, I was constantly at odds with upper management, mostly the marketing department, who insisted that I make "icons" out of all the various logos they wanted to show up on the screen. An icon, at least in the Mac world, is defined as a 32 x 32 pixel image. I had the devil's own time creating icons that even vaguely resembled some of the complex artwork they dumped on me. Then they were pissed 'cuz I didn't include the company's slogan in the same space. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

I see a trend of signature picts getting larger and larger. Eventually this could get to be a problem if it starts to affect download time and/or viewability. I'm sure if it gets to that point, Muhammad will issue some guidelines. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I know where you're coming from, Fishman. My own signature history went from "no tractor" --
HarvSig2.gif
, to "waiting for tractor" --
HarvSig3.gif
, and finally the one I'm using now.

I hope yours evolves quickly. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Harv, I sure hope it doesn't take too long either. I remember when you were looking for a tractor. Even though I wasn't a member at the time, I followed along with a great deal of interest. I recently saw an L2500 at a rental store near me and they are quite a bit bigger than I thought.

Rob, the color of the wheelbarrow in my signature is the same color (mostly) as the one I am actually using. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif I am currently leaning toward a Kubota in the 7500/2410 class, but am open to suggestions. I will certainly seek more advice as the time draws closer. Last weekend I moved a couple of tons of boulders out of my (soon to be) yard and would have jumped right on a Kioti, Mitsubishi, whatever. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

You're looking at the extent of my artistic talent. I had a grandmother, and I have daughters, who do some mighty pretty oil paintings, and with a little luck and a lot of care, I can sometimes draw a straight line with a ruler./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
