Richard, that signature simply will not do. Too clear, and everyone knows you're not supposed to be able to read a doctor's handwriting./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

CLEAR? Right, it isn't showing up at all from where I am sitting. This is frustrating to say the least. Testing one more time!!

You haven't by any chance deleted any posts that you had attached a picture to, have you, Richard?

The attached file would get deleted along with the message. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Hey, Richard, it was coming through just fine before and now it's just a red <font color=red>x</font color=red>.

Harv and Bird,
I don't understand it at all. I did have it linked to my webpage and then it quit working there. I have a lady that does my web page for the horses for me and she couldn't figure out why it didn't work. We thought it must be a communication problem between the webpage and here. So loaded it on here and still wouldn't work, then it works, then it doesn't work. I don't know what the problem is. I don't think that I had deleted any pages Harv. I'm at a lost. I've tryed redoing the picture, renaming it, everything and it still will not consistently come up.

Richard, I SURE wouldn't have any idea. I figure I'm doing good just to type text on here.

Doc, FWIW

You are calling different images each time. The one that showed up was a GIF, the other two (red X's) are JPGs. I think it is going to always work better if loaded from the TBN server, not a call out to another site.

Richard -

I can't go to bed with a mystery hanging over my head. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Near as I can tell, your recent signature history goes something like this --

The address of some of your signatures recently seemed to have picked up some embedded HTML, which renders it invalid:

<font color=blue>http://www.geocities.com/<b><i>cowboydoc</i></b>99/tractorpic.jpg</font color=blue>

Then came the .gif, which even though the HTML was gone, sometimes didn't display for me. Could be a GeoCities quirk.

<font color=blue>http://www.geocities.com/cowboydoc99/tractorpic.gif</font color=blue>

Then you uploaded one with the '~' character in the file name, which although a bit odd, worked for me:

<font color=blue>http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/18-35034-TRACTO~1.GIF</font color=blue>

Next came a more normal-looking address, which also worked okay:

<font color=blue>http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/18-35036-tractorpic.gif</font color=blue>

Then, for some reason, you switched to a realistic-looking address which doesn't exist (I see no post where you uploaded this one):

<font color=blue>http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/18-35059-sig2.JPG</font color=blue>

Then you uploaded this one:

<font color=blue>http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/18-35079-sig2.JPG</font color=blue>

That last one should work just fine, as you see here

Hey! That was fun. Now I can sleep. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
