I would like to add a heater BUT I do not have the skills /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif to drill and tap like Larry did. I have a block heater, what options, other then bring it back to the dealer /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, do I have connecting a heater into the cooling system? I added an electric heater and that just does not do it.

easy...... purchase a goose neck from Tractorsmart and send it to moweraxle and have him drill & tap it for the fitting. He is a nice guy and won't charge you a arm and a leg to do it. I am certain that he will be satisfied with just one arm........ Who knows, he might just make a run of them for all of us (hopefully)....... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Junkman,

Larry is a great guy and I am sure he would do it if I asked him. He has helped me on other projects. That takes care of one side, don't I need two take offs? Where would I put the other one since I have a block heater?

By the way the front snowblower is the only way to go. The Sims cab was great too. The front snowblower really makes that BX work. I think the rear 3 pt blower did not put as much strain on the tractor as the front blower did. We got 14" of the snow, did 13 driveways all about 200' each in under 3 hours. My neighbors are happy with my new toy too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have you considered a Coleman catalytic heater? I don't know if you have room in the cab to mount it but for $65-$75 it would be cheap and quick and one less thing to have to dismount/take off when removing the cab.

And, you could use it for other areas too.

The first one I found on the Internet was at Serious Outdoor Gear but I suspect you could pick one up locally for the same price or less.

Us Texans have enough sense to stay inside when it's that cold /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
