Got a new Sims cab in January of this year. You can read my post about Sims and all the problems I've had putting this cab together. I posted about it sometime in January/February. Well this is April. I noticed several days ago that the headliner on the inside of the cab was starting to unglue on one corner and falling down. Waited about another week and lo and behold, the liner is now on the front seat instead of being up on the ceiling/roof where it belongs. Emailed Sims, they responded by sending me a can of spray adhesive so I can re-do the job the factory was supposed to do right the first time. That's the best they will do for me. They don't care that it will take at least an hour, maybe two to remove the top canopy, clean the inside, apply the glue, then re-apply the headliner and hope and pray that next spring it doesn't fall down again. At this point I'm very reluctant to refer anyone to Sims for a tractor cab for the Ck-20. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I had decided, after reading your first thread, that this would not be a good investment. Thanks for the update.
Non-suport like that can be found all too many places, and I sure don't want to support them!

I'll Ditto that.

Thanks for updating us as I was considering doing the same as you. I think if you want a cab, it's best to get factory.

I'd be tempted to Rhino line it if you're going to the trouble to take it apart.

Sorry to hear about all your problems. I don't know anything about Sims cabs but I do know about interior trim. If the head liner came down on you from the factory, I really doubt that the spray adhessive will hold it either. I'm not sure what type materal the liner is either. Depending on what you want it to look like, you may need to get creative to get it to stay up.
Sorry again and good luck. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
