I bought my B7800 (LA402 loader) last spring. I’ve had a ball all summer/fall knocking down weeds, trees, etc. with my Woods “bush hog”. It is time this winter to do some serious maintenance (50 hour at least). Trouble is I do not have a good set of metric wrenches. I am looking at a 25 piece set from Harbor Freight that has 6, 8-32 mm in it. Will I need anything larger than 32 mm to do the maintenance? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That should do it on the tractor. If I remember correctly. The MMM requires a 33MM socket.

The set would be a good start, then you can piece in any larger sockets you find you need later...

FWIW, I have had very good luck w/ the Pittsburg brand socket stuff from HF - can't beat it for the money. Decent open-end wrench sets for cheap too.

Hmm. The very first thing I ever tried with the Pittsburg wrenches I had was to change the oil in my Kubota tractor. The wrenches are of such high quality that the boxed end wrench broke taking the oil plug out! Now, that's real quality tools. I took it back, cost me about $5 in gas for a .75 wrench, and they replaced it. I broke the 21 mm wrench on something else and gave up. I think I got $3 in my MIL's yard sale for the set. Sorry, but I can't put Pittsburg brand tools and the word quality in the same sentence; not even if you qualify it with "for the money". But, hey, they look good, and they certainly are cheap.

Go and see what Sears has on sale...Craftsman...for your MOST USED wrenches ( get a full set). After that pick up any "special size" you need one at a time. Life is WAAAYYYY too short for a bunch of busted knuckles

BTW, Sears is having their "Club Saver days" this week from the 8th through I think the 13th - extra money off if you are a member. If not, it's free to join.
