The problem(s) with loader plows, still, is they have a large front lever arm tending to turn the tractor away from the center of action and they need an extra circuit to run the angle. Check this out: its a 7.5' truck plow ($100) attached simply to 2 drop brackets from the mid-mount mower pork chops (frame drop brackets). Runs off the loader hydraulics, very close to the front axle, ideal pict angle (same as the truck mount) easy on and off, and fast travel time. You need all the front weight you can get for steering and drive traction. Most snow bunnies travel too slowly with their plows, leaving their wives to believe they need more tractor. The secret to a good snow plow deal is ground speed. Snow is a high breakout friction material. Get the blade forces to break the static friction and the snow jumps out of the way.
I run this 35 hp job in heavy, wet snow in top gear which gets the job done. I can do my whole road at the tractor speed limit. Slow down and it can bog.
I use this combo to manicure my gravel driveway, too.
