Skid Steer Grapple on a tractor?

NO, they're not. FEmale, both rear and front. That is what is usual.:confused3:

if i had as nice a set up as that i would but mine uses a metal bracket that clamps on the fitting itself and the male fitting would have slop/not fit.

and i've never seen male fittings on the back of a tractor

The fittings on the back of my tractor are female:

I meant to say female for the rear remotes.:banghead: I corrected my post to avoid further confusion.

I guess I am the only person on TBN who has male and female couplers on my loader:confused2::confused3:

Seems like....

No I have male and female flat faced connectors on my loader to run the grapple also, but I am the one who installed them and I did it that way so they matched the factory ends on my Titan grapple. I also have female connectors on the rear of the tractor, but the four for the quick attach loader are all male connectors.

Hey PP, Get your dealer to install the high flow kit for the use of your detented rear remote so the return line goes into where the red vent is installed now in the fill port for the hydro fluid. It consists of a FEmale fitting QD and a new vent installed on the left side of where the remote stack is now. Its easy to install and if you have or get a backhoe it allows for better fluid flow and cooler fluid. Then also have him make you a loop hyd hose with two male fittings to use to prevent deadheading the hydro pump in case the detented lever gets put into A or B without you knowing with nothing attached, like a hoe or whatever.

I don't ever foresee getting a backhoe for the Kioti since I now have a Kubota BX23 TLB.

As to the detent, I think I'm gonna just remove it. I don't think I'll ever use anything (such as a log splitter) that would need it. And if I did, I could just bungee the lever.

Nope, I have male and female up front on the torque tube, The reason I did this is I wanted to plug the male into the female on the grapple when I store it to protect it from dirt, and also so it will "puke" out a little fluid when disconnected to relieve pressure. I have never had a pressure rise problem when hooking up.

+2 All of my stuff is this way to keep from hooking up backwards. CJ
