Right, more pictures for the discussion. A gooseneck rollback:
Sliding tandems on a semi trailer isn't what this discussion is about. The ability to tilt and drop the bed to the ground is what's significant. X has posted some great pics!!!
SORRY IF I BORED YOU WITH FACTS ABOUT A SIMILAR INDUSTRY!
YOU SHOULD GET A JOB AS AN INTERNET COP!
EASY TO SEE HOW YOU GOT OVER 17,000 POSTS.
Wow, where'd that come from?
The original post mentions sliding axles then the op got huffy when Stimw as well as myself mentioned mechanical slides. What with very limited info about the trailer in the original post, I for one was trying to be helpful. Hope your trailer works out for you. Goodbye!
I壇 imagine the winch would move the axles. Neat concept, but if you are just pulling your tlb and hay might be unnecessary. If you were hauling slot of different stuff and really needed to screw with tongue weight than I could see the need. I知 not a fan of the really long ramps for a flat deck trailer. They will be really heavy.
Hello- I'm looking for a deckover gooseneck flatbed to haul hay and my Kubota M59 for some jobs to pay for itself. I've rented beavertail flatbeds and really disliked the rear clearance going up driveways etc. and I keep seeing an old Load-All 22' gooseneck slide axle for sale. It has been for sale over a year now, and I'm intrigued. I cant find any info on the Load-all brand online, but the concept seems handy, and this machine has a winch up front, with a pulley almost to the rear. Would the winch be used to move the 3 axles back and forth, or do I use the truck forward or backwards with the trailer brakes engaged? Are they worth the hassle or should I look for a hydraulic tilt, or a fixed bed with big ramps? I'd pay no more than $5000 as it needs batteries and tires.
