Small Apiary Barn Build

I'm intrigued with the idea of a horizontal Langstroth hive. I've seen them built with end entry and 31 frames deep. I like that idea. What do you think?

I have an uncle with a couple, he has front entrances, but he loves them

Duke Energy is the worst. Been waiting three weeks for a line to be run for power… now they say they cannot procure a transformer.

You may be able to build a barn in 10 days… but getting power to it, well… that’s another story.

We had a transformer blow a few weeks ago. We where told it would be at least a day for them to replace it since they had to go to the DFW area to find one. That's 100 miles from here!!! Fortunately, it was fixed in about ten hours, and we have a small generator that powered a small window unit that kept our bedroom cool enough to sleep.

Well, I now have to move in saws, drill press etc. I have a lot of tools to move over. I also need to hang the two 50’ drop cords and the air line for my pneumatics.

We are basically complete aside from the landscape which has a custom made rock going out in front of the porch. Functionally, it is complete.

Look up Boulder Designs. It’s a “rock” made of concrete, color, and the engraving you choose.
