Spreader Small spreaders - ATV vs. Tractor?

I don't know about the specific spreader you are talking about, but most of the stuff I've looked at in HD is Brinley-Hardy. Lowe's tends to sell Agri-Fab. I don't think either place store-brands these things. Sears, however, does. I've not looked at their stuff to try to figure it out, but I would guess it is made by one or the other of Brinley-Hardy/Agri-Fab.
