Cutting the tread off of a truck tire is a great way of building character.![]()
One local tire shop cuts the sidewalls off of their scrapped tires and piles the (intact) treads out back. Looks like it would be easy to make just-the-tread into a squeegee edge. Don't know if that's a new thing at tire shops everywhere. Also wonder why they do it that way... Save space? Sell the sidewalls?
