Snow plow or snow pusher

Certainly an excellent set-up, as you work faster and more efficiently. Plus the bonus of keeping the loader/bucket on the tractor. Converts back to bucket only in just a few minutes. From my own experience, I would add angled reinforcing bars at an angle close to 45 deg. from near end of the extension, going to the back wall of the bucket. Will prevent those long extension from buckling or bending too easyly.

Added a couple tow hooks to the snow pusher yesterday before laying up the snow equipment for the summer. I generally have to tow someone out while plowing driveways.

Thanks for the compliments. I used 1/4" thick steel for the sides and set it up with the bottom 3/4" thick logging forks supporting them. They have not budged or deflected at any rate this past very snowy winter.

I've found the plow to be far better than the bucket for snow moving. I have rear remotes and lines running forward for hydraulic angle. I'm not sure about a snow Pusher, I've never used one. I got the plow mostly for clean ups and light snow falls. What I have found is that the plow is far more versatile then the bucket, in fact I haven't had the bucket on this year. Between the Plow and the Blower that's all I use, even for heavy wet snow.View attachment 409467
