how big of a snow plow can i find for my 70's craftsman lawn tractor? How easy is it to find it and attach to my tractor? How well will it do plowing snow

It will do a bit better than pushing the snow with a shovel. I had a '68 wheel horse with a blade, and it was good for clearing a few inches of snow off the side walk, but not much more than that. Problem is it wouldn't push much 'old' snow out of the way. More of a toy than anything, but fun to have. The tractor is a bit light in the shorts to do much in the way of removing snow, but just my opinion.

I used to have a plow for my IH made Cub Cadet. Everyone told me that traction would be an issue. I had chains and wheel weights; no problem. The problem was when the blade was angled, it would push just so much and then the front end was too light; it would slide off to the side. More of a toy; you'd be better off with a snowthrower IMO.
