Snow/Plowing in a New York minute...?

Dick's is one of the places I looked at boots. But they only had laced boots. I like the one piece boots that you can just slip your foot in, because I wear them all year when I'm cleaning horse stalls or working in the paddock. Don't want to bother sitting down and lacing or unlacing them, when I'm going to be shoveling horse manure for an hour!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

The boots I got at Dick's do not have laces; they have a straing around the inside of the top of the boot that you tighten up after you put your foot in.

I got mine at the Dick's in Syracuse about two years ago, so it may be that they don't carry the line anymore. They did not have a brand name on them , but I do remember that they were all made in China.

John, this doesn't sound right but are your feet gettin wet from the outside in or the boots getting wet from the inside out? If you haven't been standing in water maybe you need boots that breath caus your feets is sweating. If i'm not walking through slush I almost always have a pair of Airforce muc lucs with the wool liners not the felts they seem to work very good. One trick that I have learned we I used to snow ski race (local club racing) was to use spray antipresperent on my feet so the sweating would be less. If you try it remember your feet might react different than your under arms so you might have to try a different brand. Yes, I know it sound wierd but my snowmobile and ice fishn' cronies now swear by it also. If its really cold the old standard U.S. issue mickey mouse boots, but are they big!!!
An .02 on winter feets wear(6'2" 235lbs size 13 know the problem)
