Wierd for me. Just a little south and the typical Lake Affect snow stayed abnormally north. Summit is usually right in the tracking. Waking up to 20-40" of snow , after the weatherman tells us not to expect any, is typical. High elevation is to blame. I drive 6 miles off the hill and roads are dry.![]()
80" of snow this week.
I expect most have heard of the snow storm in Upstate NY. I am in the place you read about. My house got 80" in a few days. It was pretty intense. I run a Kubota M6-111 hooked to a Cyclone 92" inverted blower. I hear everyone saying the inverted is no good in deep snow. Maybe it is not the...www.tractorbynet.com
Don't have any really good pics as I work alone and pulled some hours this week. I did run into one drift that was higher than the nose of my M6. Here is what I did take.Please post a picture for us to admire!![]()
Just the opposite here. Not a lot of snow, just a bunch of 2,3,4 inch nuisance storms. The biggest so far was 13" but the road gets just as slick with a 2 incher as it does with a big storm.NW Montana has been a bust so far for winter, I'm about ready to take off all the snow removal gear. I've used the snowblower once so far, its been a real Donald Duck winter.
