A front plow will serve you a lot better than a pusher on long straight runs.

there are pushers with trip blades, check out HLA's web page:

I have used a 7' pusher on my 4630 for some time. Loaded tires no chains. It works good in parking lots but I do not like the rubber edge. It has a difficult time getting down to the asphalt.

We had our first chance over the weekend to try this set up out. 8' Boss pusher with steel trip edge on 50hp New Holland. Moves snow just as well as our Boss V plows on a truck with much better visibility. No chains, but some additional rear weight would be nice.

Nice:thumbsup:,, I just don't understand the difference between a pusher VS a bucket.
To me, they do about the same job:confused:

A snow pusher holds more snow than most buckets. Work much better for clearing large areas.

I have the same set up. But with 2 link v-bar chains on the back and if it gets real bad I put them on the front also. Loaded tires and a 1400lb blower on the back. It pushes real well! CJ

I found a deal on a 7' pusher. Not sure how the tractor will handle it. If it doesn't do well, I'll still keep it for when I upsize the tractor.

Say you have a 1/2 yard 3/4 yard or even large 1 yard bucket..... My little 7' pusher holds 6 yards of snow. So even it I only fill her half way, I'm still saving a boat load of time.

I also use this setup for the roadway.

Worked well last year until I broke the " A" frame. It back and ready to work again after being shortened up. I threw a coat of paint on her to pretty her up. She could use some more sanding and paint but as long as it's functional.

7' 6" western. I have removed the hydraulic Rams so I manually turn it for now. Eventually I'll have remotes or a third function and I'll add Rams. Maybe on this tractor or the next. Either way, this setup seems to work.
