A couple pics from todays plowing.
Not much to say, thought someone might enjoy the pic.
Is this in Belleview Farms? I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring!
My rig is nuthin fancy, just my old Massey Ferguson 135 with a snow plow that came off an old pickup. A welder friend helped me with the sub frame and mounting the snow plow. The electo-hydraulic lifter was shot, so I'm using a Harbor Freight elec. winch to lift the plow. Angle change is manual. The tractor is a 3 cyl. gas, with low range, and a locking differential. Fluid in tires with chains. I load up the carry all with cinder blocks for more weight and she goes pretty good in up to 12 or so inches of snow. We live in a Homeowners Assoc. neighborhood with 2 miles of gravel road that we maintain. Myself and a couple other owners with CUTs do most of the snow removal. This year has been brutal here in SW Virginia. Going on 50" or so of total snow since before Christmas.
