Done a lot of trail grooming, i know what you mean.

We run Suretrac systems, NH TS-110 and a TN-140

I've never run a tractor with tracks setup, but before this one we had a tucker groomer. It had 4 tracks and articulated in the middle for steering. To say that thing was a piece of crap would be putting it nicely.

Had good luck with the suretrac set up. Ram steers off the drag. For us, hard to beat.

Yes it's a green Buhler/Farm King 740 (74"). The color would not have been my first choice but it's all they had last year. I sure have been giving mine a work out. I'm sure you will really like having one. By far the best method for taking care of snow IMHO.
