Lookng at getting a front mount snowblower for my Cub Cadet/Yanmar Sc2450
The frist one is the Cub Cadet SB52, but the Cub Cadet website only has info on the SB45, The other that I have found is made by Bercomac.

P.T.O. Snowblower Hydraulic Lift Sub-Compact Cub Cadet Yanmar SC Tractors - Description - BERCO Accessories for garden tractors and lawn, snowblower for ATV and UTV

Anyone have one of these blowers? Are they the same blower?
Does the Cub Cadet blower have the optional electric deflector?

I don't have one, but hopefully the other guys on here that do will respond. The SB-52 is a re-designed version of the SB45, and supposed to be much better. I believe it does have an optional power chute.
And, I also believe the bercomac is a different animal.....hopefully other guys will confirm.
Yes, I've sen that, Cub hasn't updated their website yet.

This help?
SB52 snowblower on a CubCadet/Yanmar SC2450 (SC2400) - YouTube

Don't bother with the smaller one if you can afford to spend a little more. There's not much good that's been said about them. When I bought mine I don't recall the deflector being an option.

There's a couple threads here on the SB52 also.

No clue on the Bercomac. Looks similar. Says it uses a timing belt, the SB52 does not.

I have had them both you can find the frustration of owning the sb45 on a thread about it
the sb52 is almost indestructable I put more hours on it in Nov of last year than on the sb45 (that I understand from the dealer was photographed and tags ripped off and sold for scrap) in its short life.
it took 6 bricks out of a flower planter broke 2 sheer bolts
took a ft long piece of cement curbing broke 3 sheer bolts
took a piece of road grader cutting edge broke all 4 sheer bolts it did require hammer theraphy after some of these
the sb52 is one massive piece of equipment very worth while

I stopped by the dealer today and orderd the SB52, he also said the SB45
was junk. He said he did not know too much about the Bercomac snowblower
but said if I went with the Cub Cadet brand that the front hitch for the blower is the same hitch Cub uses for the snowplow so if later on I wanted the plow I would only have to buy the plow. I did have him order the Bercomac soft side winter cab:
Winter Cab for Compact Tractors - Description - BERCO Accessories for garden tractors and lawn, snowblower for ATV and UTV

Here are the prices:
Blower $2599.00
Front Hitch $999.00
Hyd Chute Rotation $399.00
Grand Total $4544.29 with tax

Soft Cab $478.00
Brackerts $69.00
Shipping $30.00
Grand Total $617.39 with tax

I wonder if that's the same cab as listed on Ebay for around 700? I tried to get a link to it but can't quite figure it out...

I did not ask if there was an option for the chute deflector, was going to try it this winter without any chute control but got to reading and seeing that people had made thier own.

I know their is an option for it, I was reading the manual that came with the SB52 snowblower that bolted on the guide bushings in an arm for the chute deflector option.

ericher69 said that Kubota wanted $800 fot their Hydralic chute control, I knew I could make one work for alot less.
