( I have been hearing that Cleveland and other areas usually affected by lake effect snow will be hit HARD T-Giving Day. 12" to 36". )
I'm south of Akron and about 35 - 40 miles south of Cleveland - it started coming down Wednesday afternoon pretty good and really got cranked up that evening .... by about 9 PM we probably had 6" and then it really tapered off as the wind direction across Lake Erie changed. I think the snowbelt areas east of Cleveland are still getting hit pretty good - they'll probably wind up with 18" to 24" by the time it's all said and done.
With the ground being relatively warm it melted some and settled ..... not much more than 4" or so out there now, except where the wind blew it into drifts. The high on Monday is supposed to be 60° with rain forecast .... so we'll have soup soon enough.
Since working on the driveway was next to impossible with the snow cover (not to mention the wind chill of near zero) I worked on getting my blower ready yesterday, hooking up the hydraulics for the chute rotation .... still have to modify the hitch so that it with be compatible with the Speeco QuickHitch.
