Congrats on the new tractor. I am quite sure it will do everything you want.
One question though...(and I know its too late now)....
But did you look at the L4600 or MX4700. Spec wise, they compare pretty close to the 4035 (with the 4700 being the closest).
Price point may have been the difference thought. Not sure how much more the 4035 was than the L3800, But the L4600 is ~$3k more and the MX4700 is about $5k more than the L3800

You said it, the 4035 was at a good price point. We didn't look at the L4600 or MX4700 as I probably could have been just fine with an L3800 for the work we have to do with it. Staring at a 4035 and L3800 side by side probably isn't fair, but makes it really challenging to go with an L3800 for just a little more $$s.

Congrats on the tractor:thumbsup: I am in the same position myself. Went and drove the Kubota L3200 HST and it seemed ok. Plan on visiting the Mahindra and Kioti dealers to test the 3616 and DK35 or 40. Good luck with your purchase

2009 Kubota RTV 900, 2009 Kubota B26 TLB & 2010 model LS P7010
I know what you mean. I had priced a MF 1648 with QPS and cab. For $35,500 I could get a 1652 which was actually a bit cheaper than the 1648 as it had some additional freight on it. While shopping the other dealers, Kioti, Kubota, John Deere, Mahindra dealer sold LS also. Well comparing the Mahindra side by side with the 50 hp LS if had much more standard equipment, seats were much better etc. Then I tested out a P 7010C much more standard, much more power, MUCH BIGGER and for only $500 more than the MF 1642 with Cab and QPS. The LS was syncro gear 20F/20R but I fell in love with it. It is really much more power than I need and a bit awkward at times but it sure is a brute. Now I also have a smaller tractor that I was going to sell but decided to keep since it gets into smaller spots and is open station so close in work is easier to do. I may sell the 45 HP Yanmar now that I will be getting the Kubota B26 TLB soon as it will be just right, not too big and not too small for the jobs that the LS cant get into. I still love my heated and air conditioned cab on the LS though.
