Still waiting to here from the dealer. As to the problem they can't figure it out they have replaced the electrical as he said the only thing left to emplacement would be the dash board. They where going to help talk to kioti to take this tractor that won't start and when it dose run and you push with the tip of the bucket sand and rpm up it still dies out. I'm not dealing with a tractor from day one having these issues. Have them plenty of times to fix the issues and haven't it is kioti corp for letting a lemon come off the line I even have the two other dealer telling me it a lemon and the lemon law applies. Talking two the AG two ways are get another tractor or they give a refund. At this point I have a bad taste in my month with kioti. I'm not saying its a bad brand I just got a junk tractor. But with trying to deal with kioti corp also leaves a bad taste .

As I talked to my uncle he remembered a time my grandfather got a lemon tractor from John Deere the different is that they replaced the tractor after they couldn't figure it out . With out a hard time.

My uncle was looking at buying a kioti cab but with the issues I'm having he is going with a massey ferguson 40hp .

The tractor in question was bought in NJ, shipped to VT/ME? and then stayed in ME for a long time. The selling dealer did NOT make the tractor, they sold it from Kioti inventory and have had nothing to do with it since.
To satisfy the owner it will take Kioti Corp. to decide whether to exchange it for another tractor- possible, but unlikely. The possibility of a full refund is highly unlikely, regardless of any posturing by people here on TBN. A successful lawsuit would likely have to be brought against Kioti and the key word is successful.
The only thing I'd ever bet on here is customer satisfaction is likely a LONG way off. JMHO.

With all the betting taking place in this thread, I'll throw my money on CM, he's absolutely right, there's very little chance at getting a new tractor or a refund. They may offer to buy the tractor back with a reduction for depreciation and use, but a straight exchange or full refund just isn't in the cards. This is frustrating for the OP and I fear people on TBN and the dealer he's working with are getting his hopes up and he may be disappointed yet again. There is one main issue with his tractor. Yes, they're having trouble figuring it out, but his tractor is the same as all of our incredibly reliable DK SE tractors with a couple defective parts. Kioti will want to find and fix the issue, they don't want a used tractor.

Previous problems the OP had with the tractor (tire issues) were caused by incompetence from the selling dealer. It might have been frustrating as well, but certainly not Kiotis fault. I'd love to see the OP get a brand new tractor out of this, but in reality they'll fix his and throw some merch at him or offer to buy him out, either for cash or trade. Nathan knows I'm in his corner, but I think it's best to be realistic here.

The measure of any manufacturer is how well they stand behind their product and take care of the customer. The meter that the manufactures often use is the level of customer complaints and the visibility that those complaints have. TBN is one heck of a bullhorn. The more pressure TBN puts on a manufacturer the better, but downplaying reduces the likelihood of proper resolution. Whether or how the manufacturer compensates is up to them, but the long term impression and opinion of TBN members is not. Let's hope the company, who owns the warranty responsibility, takes care of the OP.

Nate should get a new Tractor!

TBN may influence those who frequent it on what to buy and other decisions, but I'm afraid our influence outside of this community with Kioti Corp. is far from forcing real world decisions. No one is downplaying anything, some of us are saying reality is different than some hope for and being realistic in today's world of close margins and extreme competition between brands is what rules corporate think.
What will have to happen is for someone of influence at Kioti corporate to be contacted by someone they might listen to and then show them the history of this particular tractor. Then discretion will play a huge part in any final decision. The term 'good will' could play its part and bring this issue to resolution, or not.
One ends up with a defective or problematic tractor/car/whatever one has to fight an uphill battle to be heard. Here on TBN one can be heard, but in the long run it won't change corporate culture, JMHO.

If Kioti is a good Manufacturer, and I am convinced they would be, they should step up and make this right for the OP who spent his hard earned money. There has to be some logical explanation/resolution path, whatever that is. Many manufacturers/dealers watch these threads. If not, someone should alert Kioti to the thread.

Here's just one old but telling commentary on one person's experience with a Kioti dealer and Kioti corporate. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-buying-pricing/127931-why-i-will-not-buy-11.html
See last post's quote of 'agentiron'. What agentiron says is telling of a certain type of issue and the way it was handled poorly, IMHO.
It says a lot about how depending on the dealer and who one deals with at corporate things that could be done right turn out differently....

I think they should give a full refund for it. He has problems with the lemon that they can not fix. He has had problems with dealers. Didn't one even leave him a nasty message on his phone? Kioti Corp has gave him a bunch of run around. How many days has this lemon been out of service? How many times has he had to pay to have it hauled to and from a dealer to be worked on? How many times have they attempted to repair it. If I had that something give that was that of a much problem I certainly would not want another one. Kioti was more than happy to take his money when he bought it so they should be happy to give it back! If they are willing to give him another tractor it should not be a problem for them to give him his money back. I don't think this a first time the new dealer has seen a Lemon since he said he would call Kioti and see if they could get him a new tractor.

On a roll today I see Roger.
