Last fall we had 20 dump truck loads of decomposed horse manure hauled to the lot.
My neighbor used his TN-70D and his box blade to spread it and I used my tiller and homogenized it with the soil in the garden.
We should have good weeds and good vegetables this year. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

In the last stages of clearing my building site - moved some dirt into a low area and graded it - spent most of the rest of the time removing some trees and pulling vines from the others and pushing it all up into a burn pile. Got a pretty good case of poison ivy but still had a great time. A few weeks ago, I installed a new, comfortable seat on my tractor and what a difference it makes. Dug the basement about 7 weeks ago but rain every 3 days or so has kept us from moving forward. Finally got to dig footings Sunday and poured them today. Now I feel like we can get the house going.

Removed a lot of debris from last fall with the FEL. Trying to get a game plan going as I will be switching implements for various jobs. The less switching, the better and smoother the jobs will go.

I put 18 hrs on the meter this weekend. Raked up 4acres of pasture and removed all manure.
Replaced 12 wooden post w/ FEL.
Finish mowed 10 acres
Dragged the driveway
I think I need a new seat on the 790, or slow down some cause my back was killing me !

You're one of those as well. Taking care of everything to allow your wife time to be with your ill father is a VERY important way to help. I hope he recovers okay, or goes in peace.

Friend of mine did me some clamps to put 2 16" disc hillers onto my 2x2 bars. With these, I did the rows in my garden, got my taters in and 1 row of carrots. Rest will sit until early May to put in rest. Probably can plant one row of corn about the end of the week.
Put the bush hog back on today and actually did everything right. First, I had to run my trails with the Gravely across the little branch becuz I can't get the gravel yet to do a culverted one to support the JD. That Gravely was A BUNCH more work that the JD doing FAR more trail work and mowing around my black walnut trees. It's just SO much easier on the JD. I'll be looking forward to getting my bridge made. Gotta get the driveway resurfaced this Friday and then wait for it to cure to have a dump truck bring in that load of gravel though.
Got some paint and bought a "touch-up" sprayer at TSC to apply it (to mix in some hardener). Used this to paint my disc hillers and soil ripper parts green yesterday.
Love my JD 4010.
