A friend of mine sent me this petition a year or so ago. Not sure of current status, and I can't provide a source. I'm sure all of you will be appropriately concerned. I'll provide details in two posts, for reasons that will become clear. Here is the petition:

"I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA THIS KIND OF THING WENT ON IN COLORADO. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED WHEN I FOUND OUT!

Fox Hunting in Colorado :
I felt a real need to forward this to you and ask you to do the same....
Please don't misread my intentions.... I am in NO way in agreement with any type of gun control, but after seeing this.... I am, unfortunately, in agreement that something needs to change.... While I may agree that hunting is an ethical God-given right, I think that we would have to agree on this....

Fox hunting in Colorado should be banned!

Please help ban fox hunting in Colorado !

You would not find any bigger hear...one time you would..but they keep the heard culled to prevent habitat destruction. These are two nice ones though we got this fall.

Ha, I suppose ay. They would be near the top here..I'd say the top. Sometimes you may get one 2 inches wider and maybe a point or two..but I wouldn't recommend waiting around for him. 5 and 8 pointers much more common. I wouldn't recommend waiting for any thing with only a couple days to hunt. Growing up here...antlers make no difference to me, nice to look at in a picture thats all...but tough as **** when boiled in soup.

Wow! Those are awesome. I've always said my dream hunt would be to take a moose with a recurve. If I got one close to either of those I'd be tickled to death. They are so big!
