I have talked with people that have had them bend. Here is how I engineered it. Certainly not looking to pick a fight here.:confused2::confused2: Why? Have you ever read about or seen one fail? Not me-never.

mwb,Dad and I did his with 5 inch grinders and cut off wheels (1/16). I think it took two of us about an hour to get the bucket cleaned off

Thanks for posting the link for your SSQA build - I currently have the pin-type Kubota QA and would like to replace it with an SSQA (one that used a linear actuator for the pin release would be really sweet) .... your project has inspired me to contemplate rolling my own :thumbsup:
Wow, what a lot of work. I got a new bucket when I got my QA, but I figured I'd slap a plate on the old bucket one day. Maybe it will just be a flower planter now.
When I got my original estimate for the QA, I asked about them doing the old bucket. They said they would but they wanted $300 to setup the old bucket with the QA plate. I thought that was really high for welding, but maybe it wasn't such a bad price afterall???
