Chris; Yes, I backed off the tension on the return spring. The pedals return just as before I adjusted the spring. I guess I should have read the posts you referred to when they were first posted. I think I'll call my dealer and tell them nicely what I did.

It does raise a warning flag about being aware of the pedals and what to do if it should stick suddenly.

One other thing I noticed was that the return spring was at full tension before I backed off. Wow, I'm wondering if I shouldn't have done anything after reading those other posts, especially the parts about injuring someone. John I'm glad that you were able to work through your problem. It's annoying when you spend that kind of cash and have to find the "cure" yourself.
