I am in the process of building a boom sprayer to fint a cat 0 3PH. I am piecing things together on a low budget.

So far, I have...

Tank-free (donor from a buddy)
Roller pump-free (donor from my dad's old irrigation set-up for his garden)
5Hp gas engine to drive roller pump-free (donor from junk rototiller)
Frame work that I can easily modify-$2.00

The thing that has me stumped...

I need an electric solenoid valve that has one inlet, and two outlets. One outlet should be open, and the other closed, and just the opposite when 12VDC is applied.

This will be to control spray boom on/off. The engine and pump will be running, but If I can find this valve, I can control the spray booms by recurculating to the tank when I wish to turn the sprayer off. Any other ideas welcome, but I really think I'd like to do this with the flip of a switch, so I can minimize spray material waste.

Thanks for any and all help!

hey arbo how about a 20.00 buck pressure regulator? when valve shuts pressurure to solenoid valve will be what you have it set at, the rest bypass to tank? look at TSC, Farm and Fleet, type stores
