standard height for cat 1 3 pt hitch

is there a STANDARD height for a CUT that one should expect a cat 1 3 pt hitch to raise an implement off the ground? Thanks.

I think all tractors have a wide variation of adjustment. The 3 PT links have various holes for lifting to different heights etc. No set rule. Set them as needed..

Thanks for the reply.
I feel like I dont get enough clearence for my 1000lb bush hog on the back of my 40HP CUT.
I am not sure of which adjustments to make first.
I have 2 holes on my lift rod where it attaches to the lower link.
should I try the higher hole first.
I could also attach my lower links to a lower pin setting on the cutter.
It seems the back wheel is only 6 inches off the ground in transport.
sorry for the newbee questions but I want to start off right.

Yes it is.

My ford 3 point will lift a brush hog high enough to walk under to work on... no, I would never walk under but it lifts pretty high.

Depending on the implement, you can get a lot of adjustment just by shortening your top link, or the chain if that is what you are using for something like a rear mower or brush hog. That will get a lot more clearance on the back of the implement.
