Im taking their package that offers 500 up, 500 down for $69/mo, free modem and free wire to house and modem
You guys post some attractive deals…

When I hear something I would like or get a advertising postcard the fine print excludes me…

A lot of offers here require some short of assistance program such as Section 8, SNAP, WIC, etc. and the rates are around $20 per month for straight Internet at 50 MBps

Had ATT at the door with a good offer and I said ok… let’s do it.

Only 2 homes in my area have underground utilities and I am one… the offer only covered arial drops and not underground so the installer said it would have to go to engineering.

I’ve heard friends say they are always changing providers because of price jumps when the promo period is up… that would not interest me at all…

On the plus side I went from no internet or cell coverage at home to pretty consistent 1 bar cellular and early morning it tends to work even better.

Lots of the Verizon cubes around but my address and 4 others near me are excluded… it does work at my place when I borrowed one but instead of the 150 MBps it was about 6.

Interesting, I was mildly interested in one of those things until I read the reviews.

I'm looking at the app right now, on my phone. It says fastest download 2.37 Gbps, upload 2.55 Gbps. We've downloaded 97.7 GB and uploaded 6.4GB

It's through Frontier and our neighbor works for them. I'm not sure what packages were available, they surveyed my wife for our uses, 5 streaming TV's and 2 laptops with requirements to hold Teams and Zoom meetings. Regardless, the monthly fee is almost 1/2 what we paid for Starlink.
Sounds good. You can't complain about those speeds.

i don't follow why you would buy internet with a speed of 2.4 Gigabytes/sec. There is no way that you would need that and I am surprised it would be available for a home. I wonder if they were talking about wifi at 2.4 ghz. I have 300 Mbps and find that more than adequate. I could have the maximum speed here of 1 G/s for a higher price but I see no reason to give away money. What company is providing your internet?
Iman,
I think the lowest package started at $59/mo., but I don't know what the speeds were. It looks like she opted for the second package at $79/mo. with the highest speed. I pay for the internet as an expense for my home based LLC business.
