Update 8-23

Well I have not had any time to see anymore progress, but I did talk to my contractor yesterday. We have the PEX plumbing installed and all of the wiring done as well. They have also install all of the Hardy Board stucco on the house and we just receive the Rock yesterday as well. Today the Isulation guy is going out there and will start doing the prep work before he sprays the foam insulation, he will be spraying it next week. I don't have any pics right now but I will take somemore this weekend.

I had a question about that PEX pipe.
Is there a problem with rodents chewing on that stuff? Especially in the more rural areas?

I have the PEX pipe in my house and when you pick up a piece of scrap it seems like it is a metallic shell with some sort of plastic lining inside. I can't see a rat being able to chew it, nor would he even want to.

I think it has an alunimium core, it is pretty stiff. I don't see them biting in to them, there is alot more stuff than that to get in to.

The rock looks great. It sure adds allot to a house!!!!

I might have forgotten, but what are you using for the panels? It looks like Hardi in stucco, but then it also looks like you are doing a board and batten design. I'm not able to see it clear enough to figure it out.

Thanks for the updates, it's a great looking home.

Yes it is Hardy stucco, the seems is covers with a thin strip of hardy stucco as well. The hardy board seems to be some good stuff.
